Family owned and operated, St. Gemma was built from the ground up around three promises: one-of-a-kind homes, personable customer service, and genuine Southern hospitality.

The Challenge

Galveston is a crowded vacation market. Travelers scroll through dozens of near-identical short-term rental listings, and most booking decisions get made in seconds, based on a single photo and a gut feeling about whether a place can be trusted. A family-run business with genuinely beautiful homes can easily get lost next to national booking platforms and investor-owned portfolios that compete purely on volume.

St. Gemma needed a brand that did the opposite of blend in. It had to feel elevated enough to justify a premium nightly rate, warm enough to signal the personal, family-run service behind it, and consistent enough that a guest who discovered St. Gemma on Instagram recognized the same brand the moment they landed on the website or walked into the home. The harder challenge was emotional: making a screen-based first impression feel like the start of a relationship, not a transaction.

The Brand

We started with a brand and logo family built to read as luxurious without feeling cold. The typography leans into refined, elevated fonts, and the color palette draws on the classic charm of the homes and the easy, sun-washed feel of the coast. The result is an identity that is approachable yet sophisticated, the visual version of a home away from home just steps from the Gulf.

Because St. Gemma shows up everywhere from a phone screen to a front-door welcome, we designed the system to flex. The same brand carries cleanly across the website, social graphics, printed collateral, and branded merchandise like hats and shirts that turn happy guests into walking word-of-mouth.

The Website

The Social

On social, we developed an ongoing content program designed around the way people actually plan trips: visually, and often on impulse. The Instagram feed works as a curated, scroll-stopping grid that doubles as a portfolio of the homes and a mood board for the getaway a guest is already imagining. Paired with promotional and printed materials, the brand now feels cohesive whether someone finds St. Gemma through a friend, a search, or a single photo that stops their thumb.
