Equestrian Closet partnered with Bluebird Creative to establish a polished, cohesive brand and software platform that could serve as a online community for equestrians to buy and sell their used equestrian gear. Our team developed a refined visual identity and designed a clean, conversion-focused custom platform that positioned Equestrian Closet as the trusted destination for curated riding apparel and accessories.
Equestrian Closet needed a full visual identity and software platform that could attract the equestrian community, allow them to post their own items for sale and facilitate the transaction between the two parties. While there are many CMS softwares on the market, our team felt it was best to custom develop this software so that the client could have full control over the user experience. After walking through a full branding exercise, our team designed each user page and front-facing page in Adobe XD with prototyping to ensure a seamless experience. After design was complete, our partner developer, Select Interactive, developed the site and built a robust reporting back end for the owner to track active transactions, accounts and sales.
Brand Identity
Working closely with the owner of Equestrian Closet, our team developed three concepts for initial review in the brand identity process. After landing on a final concept in 3 rounds, we were able to fine tune color palette selection, fonts, imagery style and complete the full brand guidelines that would impact the remainder of the digital and tangible touch points.

Website Design & Development
From early on in this project, our team understood that a fully custom UX was the right choice for the product. After initial wire frame and content planning, the site was designed fully in Adobe XD. Before finalizing design, our team coordinated with the developer, Select Interactive, to ensure that design could meet function to manage client expectations. Once design was finalized, we played a heavy role in the development, tweaking and adding design elements as we rolled out more functional site. The result was a fully custom and branded product that the client is able to call all her own.
After 5 years of marketplace style sale, the client came back to us with the need to produce a section of the site where she could sell new merchandise. Knowing we already had the design infrastructure in place, the development cost was cut drastically and we were able to implement the pages efficiently for direct sale.

Since initial launch in 2020, the platform now has over 800 users in their community buying and reselling their equestrian gear. The brand has become a household name in this industry and helps equestrians share the love of their craft, daily.
